I am reading My life in France by Julia Child and she marveled about seafood side vendors in Paris which reminded me of this photo I took last year during my visit and remembering how delectable it was..I agree Julia, I agree!

I don't normally go to ball games and if I do it's usually because I got free tickets from someone. I never know what to wear to this type of places/events but as I go through my closet I found a high waisted short/skort and a cute little top that ties up in the neck for the chill and voila! A ball game outfit emerges..

A man brave enough to imagine out loud

This man extremely surprised me and I just love everything about his view in clothes. I love an artist who is aware on what he puts on his back and meticulous on how he is perceived and that fashion is an extension of your mind and artistic concepts. What I love about this man is that he is dressed exactly how he explains his imagination works and those caftans and pants tucked in that glorious brown knee high boots is just respectable. And his hat collection..MY MY!!!

The Mutoscope was, like the Kinetoscope, a Peepshow device and included a viewing aperture which customers peered into to watch the action. Once a month a take some of my friends for an hour and half drive to Napa for some girl talk and wine. Having a membership at Domaine Carneros one of my favorite sparkling wine maker is a good excuse to take a trip there and pop a bottle that I am obliged to purchase. This month in addition to Domaine Carneros, we visited Francis Ford Coppola's winery Rubicon and what a treat we had during our visit. We had an awesome sighting of the Coppola family. Yes the legendary director Francis Ford Coppola with his family just going about their winery. It made me feel as though I am just a guest of their house and I didn't want to bother them for a photo op. They are Italians and Sundays are family day so I didn't want to be invasive. Rubicon is filled with Film relics, old cameras, film, costumes, Oscar and Emmy awards so it made the visit extra fun. But the best film relic I found is a Mutoscope that played nude flip book which I'm guessing from the late 1800 to early 1900's! I was so excited that I recorded the the flip book as I wound the mutoscope for an early-esque film making cinema. I have always dreamed of owning an antique nude flip book and I couldn't believe that I actually saw one! Napa never disappoints with its gorgeous scenery and endless vines and the relax atmosphere. And yet you still find hidden treasures from the wineries amongst it's smooth wine production, it is the perfect weekend getaway.

Opera SF

Went to the Opera in San Francisco for the first this weekend and I had a blast. Being in San Francisco my favorite city and around people wearing fancy clothes and classical music lover is exhilarating to me. Yes the first four performance at the Opera required getting used to but after the intermission I was enamored and I can't wait to go back for some more! I may have shocked a lot of conservative attendees at the house with my over the knee high heel boots but who cares? It's San Francisco and this is the place to get away with such silly little ensembles.

Tomato Bisque w/ White truffle grilled cheese toast stick

Scallops with Brussel Sprouts leaves, carmelized onion finished in brown butter & Lemon

Bacon wrapped meatloaf in applewood smoked bacon with Truffle whipped potato french green beans and mushrooms.

Warm smoked mozzarella cheese & Bacon Fondue potato skin strips

Sauce Sampler: Cinnamon sugar doughnut with hot vanilla bourbon dipping sauce, Ice cream smash topped with chocolate sauce, Pan seared PB&J w/ homemade strawberry reserved and Frangelico Peanut Butter and Vanilla Ice cream in the center (this one is to die for!), Strawberries and cream with brown sugar.

Before heading to the Opera last Saturday we had an early dinner at Sauce in San Francis and I must say that this place quickly become my favorite restaurant. Its a small restaurant but serves some excellent comfort food! I'm a sucker for Tomato Bisques w/ grilled cheese and I eat Peanut Butter everyday, Mark making an effort to impress me picked this place just for those reasons and boy did he score big time! The servings look tiny but don't let this fool you because it will quickly fill your stomach up. We wanted to enjoy our desserts so we paid our dinner bill went to the Opera and came back 3 hours after to eat desserts and I must say that this is a smart move because we enjoyed that sampler dessert dish so much that we almost finished it all!

Every year, I buy few pairs of boots and shoes for fall and I just want to share some of the shoes I bought recently that makes me excited to feel the cool breeze of fall this year.

The Pied Piper.

I was easily entranced by the new Erin Fetherson Autumn/Fall 2009 collection video. There's simply something about watching a fashion show in a film sense. I suppose it's because we relate film closer to reality than watching glamazonians strut their stuff in a catwalk which is most often unrealistic. I personally love this video as I am an eternal lover of anything that glitters and glamour of pouf skirts, cats eye make up, and hosiery. I love the sparkly little mouse masks! Hope you enjoy the video as much as I did.

I can't wait to see this film. Not only that it's beautiful visually but also to see the great group of actors in it and is that supermodel Lily Cole I see? It is the last film of the great actor late Heath Ledger.

The separates were bought from H&M. I try to get as frilly as I can get when sleeping. After all, every woman's mystery should be revealed on what she wears at night..

And yes ladies and gentlemen, I do go out like that. I get lots of WTF stares from strangers but it warms my heart getting dolled up and feeling always lover ready. It's not always although I'm getting the hang of curling my hair this style and putting make up on in just 30 minutes (yes, including picking out what to wear). I heard someone say "I'm not really high maintenance, I just have a routine" and that's something I am practicing everyday.

Boots is probably my favorite kind of shoes and I own lots of them. Last year alone, I bought 5 pairs during the winter time! But this year as I discovered this awesome See by Chloe boots, I quietly cried. Why why does it have to cost over $600?! This requires me to pray to all shoe god for a good sale because I just must have it!

Yes it's not hole in the wall but Pastis has the best scallops and mimosa!

Meat Packing district is so real you can smell the slaughtered animal in the air.

So many movies I've seen filmed at the Grand Central Station that it made me so giddy when I saw it.
