Porte de Clignancourt







You've never been to an antique flea market unless you've scoured your ways through blocks of area of wonderful vintage finds at Porte de Clignancourt just a stop outside of Paris.  This place is immaculate and heaven for ALL vintage scavengers. They had jewelry, furniture, clothes, handbags from as early as 1400's! My advise is that you don't go here unless you have some serious money to spend given that everything is of course in euros you will be paying double with your American dollar.  Europeans take pride with their antiquities I think it's because it translates original and authenticity unlike things that are mass produced.  So if you are ever in France, don't spend your money in major stores find a unique memorabilia from flea markets that guarantees that you will not find a "made in china" sticker at the bottom.  And may I remind you that hunting for things is as fun as catching the perfect find...
